bronco kick bean DIP

INGREDIENTS: * TEA TREE PRODUCTS

  • 1 can black beans, drained

  • 1 tbsp garlic flavored olive oil*

  • 1 tbsp bronco kick spice blend*

  • 1/4 chopped onion

  • 1 tsp minced garlic

  • 1 cup vegetable broth

  • 1 can diced green chiles, drained

  • 1/4 cup sour cream (sub cottage cheese for + protein)

  • drizzle of habanero flavored olive oil*

  • desired toppings- avocado, cotija cheese, tomatoes, jalapenos, etc.

DIRECTIONS:

  1. in a saute pan, heat a drizzle of garlic olive oil to medium heat, and add the chopped onion. saute until soft.

  2. add bronco kick and cook for 1 more minute until fragrant.

  3. add minced garlic and cook 1 more minute, until fragrant.

  4. pour in the broth, reduce heat to med-low. simmer uncovered for 20 minutes, until liquid absorbs by about half.

  5. add in diced green chiles and mash the beans.

  6. remove from heat, transfer to a food processor and let cool. once cooled, process with the sour cream for about 30 seconds or until desired consistency.

  7. transfer to small baking dish or ramekin and bake at 350 for 25-30 minutes.

  8. once done sprinkle with flaked sea salt and a drizzle of habanero olive oil. top with desired toppings & enjoy!
