Lavender Essential Oil (Lavandula officinalis) has a medium-strength floral, herbaceous, sweet, and woody aroma presenting a top-middle fragrance note.
This universal oil is extensively used in soaps, bath oils, perfumes, DIY skin care, and linen sprays. Add Lavender oil to a diffuser or aroma inhaler, and breathe deeply for a calming effect. Use the oil prior to bedtime for a restful night’s sleep.
When added to a carrier oil, Lavender works great as an after-sun skin moisturizer. Add to a carrier oil for a relaxing massage blend that calms overworked muscles.
