pesto & tomato basil caprese

INGREDIENTS: * TEA TREE PRODUCTS

  • 2 tbsp *PESTO OLIVE OIL*

  • 2 tbsp *TOMATO BASIL BALSAMIC VINEGAR*

  • 8 oz fresh mozzarella, sliced (about 8-10 slices)

  • 4 ripe tomatoes, sliced (about 8-10 slices)

  • 1/2 cup fresh basil leaves (about 20-25 leaves)

  • Salt and pepper to taste

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Arrange the Ingredients: On a serving platter or individual plates, alternate layers of fresh mozzarella slices and ripe tomato slices, slightly overlapping them.

  2. Add Fresh Basil: Tuck fresh basil leaves between the layers of mozzarella and tomato, or scatter them on top.

  3. Drizzle with Dressing: In a small bowl, whisk together the PESTO OLIVE OIL and TOMATO BASIL BALSAMIC VINEGAR. Drizzle the mixture over the arranged mozzarella and tomatoes.

  4. Season: Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.

  5. Serve: Enjoy immediately as a refreshing appetizer or side dish.
