Almond Cherry Nightcap Spritz

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 cup ALMOND CHERRY tea, brewed strong & chilled

  • 1 oz bourbon (or vodka)

  • ½ oz fresh lemon juice

  • ½ oz simple syrup (adjust to taste)

  • Splash of vanilla extract (optional)

  • Sparkling water or club soda

  • Ice

  • Garnish - Cherry, Orange twist, Rosemary sprig (optional)

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Brew ALMOND CHERRY tea double strength and chill completely. (HOT STEEP: steep 2 tsp of Almond Cherry tea in 8 oz of boiling water for 3-5 minutes; COLD STEEP: steep 2 tsp of Almond Cherry tea in 8 oz of room temperature water for 8-12 hours)

  2. In a shaker, combine tea, bourbon (or vodka), lemon juice, simple syrup, and vanilla.

  3. Shake well with ice.

  4. Strain into a glass over fresh ice.

  5. Top with sparkling water and gently stir.

  6. Garnish and enjoy.

Tip: Make it a Mocktail! - Skip the bourbon (or vodka) and add a splash more sparkling water.
