Honey, I Smoked It Ribs
INGREDIENTS:
2 racks baby back ribs
2 Tbsp GARLIC OLIVE OIL
3 Tbsp HONEY BALSAMIC VINEGAR
1 Tbsp brown sugar
1/4 cup apple juice
Optional: extra HONEY BALSAMIC VINEGAR for finishing
DIRECTIONS:
Preheat grill or smoker to 300°F.
Remove membrane from back of ribs and pat dry thoroughly.
Rub ribs all over with GARLIC OLIVE OIL.
Combine HONEY, I SMOKED IT SPICE BLEND and brown sugar. Press seasoning heavily onto all sides of the ribs.
Place ribs over indirect heat. Cover and cook for 2 hours.
Mix HONEY BALSAMIC VINEGAR and apple juice together.
Wrap ribs tightly in foil with the balsamic mixture and continue cooking 1–1 1/2 hours until tender.
Unwrap and return to grill for 10–15 minutes to caramelize and deepen the bark.
Brush lightly with additional HONEY BALSAMIC VINEGAR before serving for extra smoky-sweet flavor.
