Smoke Whisperer Brisket
INGREDIENTS:
2 lb brisket
3 Tbsp SMOKE WHISPERER SPICE BLEND
2 Tbsp GARLIC OLIVE OIL
2 Tbsp FIG BALSAMIC VINEGAR
1 tsp kosher salt (optional, depending on salt preference)
1/2 tsp COARSE BLACK PEPPER
Optional: fresh parsley or green onion for garnish
DIRECTIONS:
Preheat oven to 325°F.
Pat brisket dry with paper towels.
In a small bowl, mix together SMOKE WHISPERER SPICE BLEND, GARLIC OLIVE OIL, FIG BALSAMIC VINEGAR, salt, and COARSE BLACK PEPPER into a thick rub.
Coat the brisket generously on all sides, pressing the seasoning mixture into the meat well.
Place brisket in a roasting pan or on a large sheet of heavy-duty foil. Wrap tightly.
Roast for 3 to 3 1/2 hours, or until tender and easily sliced with a fork. For extra tender brisket, continue cooking another 30–45 minutes.
Let rest 10–15 minutes before slicing against the grain.
Spoon the pan juices over the sliced brisket before serving.
