Smoke Whisperer Brisket

INGREDIENTS:

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F.

  2. Pat brisket dry with paper towels.

  3. In a small bowl, mix together SMOKE WHISPERER SPICE BLEND, GARLIC OLIVE OIL, FIG BALSAMIC VINEGAR, salt, and COARSE BLACK PEPPER into a thick rub.

  4. Coat the brisket generously on all sides, pressing the seasoning mixture into the meat well.

  5. Place brisket in a roasting pan or on a large sheet of heavy-duty foil. Wrap tightly.

  6. Roast for 3 to 3 1/2 hours, or until tender and easily sliced with a fork. For extra tender brisket, continue cooking another 30–45 minutes.

  7. Let rest 10–15 minutes before slicing against the grain.

  8. Spoon the pan juices over the sliced brisket before serving.
